Discovering EQ(emotional quotient) To start with, one can ask what emotion is. Well, emotion is an effective state of consciousness in which joy, sorrow, fear, hate, or the like, is experienced, as distinguished from cognitive and volitional states of consciousness. It can also be taken as a feeling in short. I believe and I think each one of us accepts the fact that all humans have feelings and of course have different ways to express them. Talking about expressing ones emotions or behaviors towards an emotion, this kind of behavior is not that one that defines a person. Here we are talking about that behavior as a reaction that is triggered by the current emotion. One can also define that behavior as a way one reacts due to his emotions. Let's say someone is feeling Happy or is made happy, how does the person express his happy feelings? Does he shout? Cry? Talk of some one angry. How does that angry person react?
